NGA X Jeffrey Smart
As one of Australia's most celebrated artists, Jeffrey Smart sought inspiration from the world around him. Known for his interpretations of urban and industrial modernity, Smart transformed these environments through his imaginative sense of theatre and his intimate understanding of geometry and composition.
As part of the NGA’s latest exhibition we collaborated with Studio Ongarato and The National Gallery of Australia to produce a ranch of merchandise to be sold at NGA’s Art Store. The product range includes a digitally printed tote, domino set, face mask, notebooks, pencil case, playing cards and puzzle.

Inspired by the graphic elements throughout Jeffrey Smart’s work, the domino set is UV printed onto FSC certified wood.
The face mask features Jeffrey Smart’s ‘A Portrait of Clive James’ digitally printed onto 100% cotton fabric.
We sampled two artworks for the hardcover notebooks. The notebooks feature jacquard NGA branded elastic, ribbon bookmark and a graphic edge print inspired by the artwork.
