Production
Collaborating with Studio Round, we handled the production of all packaging, including their in-store plastic bags featuring photography commissioned by Tom Blachford.
Produced in a t-shirt style and in two sizes. A plastic laminate with an epi coating was added to the plastic film to allow natural degradation when exposed to oxygen over time. Featuring a four colour process rotogravure printed landscape.
We handle the ongoing production of their consumables and food packaging, from printed food grade packaging, paper, stickers and smallgoods packaging.
Shifting away from offering plastic bags in store, Contain has developed a range of reusable bag options, including Meatsmith’s staple green tote.
The Meatsmith tote is made from a sturdy green canvas and its large size has made this tote a Melbourne staple.
Screen printed one colour on the front and the side gusset, this 14oz tote includes an internal pocket and custom woven tag.
Version 2.0 of the landscape bag featuring Tom Blachford photography (originally produced from biodegradable plastic) was designed as a reusable shopper made from recycled bottles.
Digitally printed on RPET, the internal pocket doubles as a storage bag to hold the bag.
A special edition wine and meat tote was developed featuring a Tom Blachford photograph. Digitally printed cotton, the internal structural has two wine pockets and features a woven branded patch and woven label ‘Some Meat, Mostly Wine’.
The Meatsmith Cooler Bag pushes the preconceptions on what a cooler bag should be.
The premium bag features a digitally printed landscape with heat seal seams and 3mm foam inner to ensure no nasty meat leaks.
A range of merch has been produced based on different campaigns and launches, including these tee and staff uniforms featuring illustrations by Ezra Whittaker-Powley to coincide with the online store and home delivery launch in April 2020.
